Castellino – Grilled Borrettane Onions – 6.5 oz
A delicious speciality grown in the northern Italian town of Boretto. The onions have a crunchy and consistent texture, with a smoky, sweet and sophisticated flavor. The process includes two steps; slowly roasting and a second step on the grill making the typical grill black marks on their skin. During the first step the onions lose their excess moisture and become crunchy.

Combine with balsamic vinegar reduction and a selection of mature cheese, ham and salami, grilled meat, roasted angler or monk fish.
