This Pesto combines Tuna with olives and capers, an ideal preparation for a first course, or antipasti on bruscetta or canapes. The word "Tabarchino" derives from the history of Ligurian migrants who, around 1540, departed from Pegli to Tabarka, an island off of Tunisia, Algerian border. They devoted themselves to Tuna fishing, the collection of coral and the production of sea salt. Le Mareviglie has also chosen to guarantee the quality of its products by obtaining the BIO, BRC and IFS certification.
